Stories from the Noon Crew: Pam (yin yoga, Thursdays)

I have always loved movement, especially dance. Yoga feels like a danceto me. I am dancing with my breath and my heart. Yoga has given me manythings: flexibility both physically and emotionally, healing (same), acommunity of like minded beings and purpose—sharing this gift throughteaching. Yoga started as a way to get exercise and has evolved into away of being in the world. The 8 limbs of yoga are a lovely guide toliving well. As I age, Yin yoga has become more important in my life. Ido things quickly and sometimes struggle with impatience. Yin invitesme to be still and notice the felt sensation in the body as I hold ashape and notice the mind's response. Through meditation, movement andcuriosity I am able to live well as life happens.

Namaste,

Pam Keyser
