Greg Nurnberg
Greg has been practicing Vipassana meditation since the late 1980s and began exploring yoga in the early 2000s, discovering that breathwork and relaxation techniques were especially helpful for managing stress and anxiety. He completed a 200-hour meditation teacher training at the Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health, focusing on an integrative approach that combines movement, breathwork, relaxation, and meditation. With a passion for Yoga Nidra, Greg also completed a 40-hour certification to become a Divine Sleep® Yoga Nidra Guide. His classes emphasize connecting the body, mind, and breath to cultivate focus and trust in one’s inner wisdom. In addition to teaching, Greg holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering and is looking forward to retiring from a local software company to have more time for traveling with his wife, as well as restoring and riding vintage motorcycles.
